What is the IPC (International Paralympic Committee)?

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is the international governing body for sports practised by athletes with motor and visual impairments. Its role is to encourage its members in the development of para sports, ensure the successful delivery of the Paralympic Games and other high-level competitions for athletes, and act as the international federation for ten para sports.

For over 30 years, the IPC has been working towards a more inclusive world through para sports.

It aims to enable para athletes to achieve sporting excellence and be a source of inspiration and enthusiasm for the world.
